    Default Taylorsville at night?

Anyone been night fishing Taylorsville this year? I've fished there a lot but never at night and thought about trying it this week. Just curious if anyone had tried it and if any success? Thanks and God Bless

I fished it at night a looooong time ago, but not for Crappie. Fished it at night for Bass back in those days ... but, can't really say I remember ever seeing anyone with lights out fishing for Crappie.

You probably best check on night Bass tourneys down there, just to be sure you aren't gonna be beaten to death from all the Glitter Rocket waves. They used to have tourneys on Tues nights and I believe some on Fri nights, and they're now allowed to start them back up, but I don't know if they have a cap on how many boats or whatever. But, you know T-ville, and how narrow most of the lake is, so much of any traffic is going to stir up the waves.

In fact, here's a list : Fisheries | KDFWR and it looks like only tonight & next Thurs is listed this month, but that don't mean local clubs aren't gonna be fishing on other nights. The listed tourneys are 6PM-10PM ... but, i remember the old tourneys were usually not over till 1AM.

Let us know how you do .... I might be up for some night Crappie fishing before too long, myself.

I'm fishing this week at night. Been years but alwa yet s did good. Found brush off points in deeper water. Only bad thing was once the hybrids find your minnows it seemed to be all over for crappie. Personally I'd rather est Crappiepappy's shoe then a hybrid. Just my opinion.
