    Default Green River Yesterday

Well, me and my ole fishing buddy made another trip down to Green River Yesterday. Didn't do as good as our first trip there last Monday, but caught some fish and enjoyed it. Got pretty hot in the afternoon and the crappie seemed to stop biting when it got hotter and the water temperature got up to 85 F. Most of our fish were caught in the morning in 18-24 FOW fishing 8-10 ft deep near brush piles. Used jigs and minnows. Caught 20-30 shorties (6"-8.5"). Had 11 nice keepers (11"-14") one weighed little over 1#. I also caught a couple of nice bass on 1/8 oz. crappie jig tipped with minnow . One was about 4# and one was about 3#.
    Sorry, forgot to take pictures.
