All I know is ... the lake is finally back down to near Summer Pool. I haven't seen or heard any reports. I'm guessing the campgrounds are still under lockdown, so any ramps accessible only thru a gated campground might be closed or only open 7a-7p (like the Taylorsville Possum Ridge ramp). That lockdown may be lifting on the 11th ... ... so you might want to call the COE Cave Run office just to make sure (or the marina). Other than any of those ramps, all the other ramps are open.

I've only used the Marina ramp & Alfrey ramp, and prefer the Alfrey ramp. I believe, also, that the COE is not charging a ramp use fee until Oct. so if you do see a fee collection box/bldg there should be a sign saying collections are temporarily discontinued.

Yeah, I imagine so. I've fished it since it opened (early 70's) but not regularly & not recently. Last time I fished there was in Oct. & many many years ago. Had to fish out on the main lake banks, because the stringy moss had the creek we fished pretty much covered ... especially around any of the standing timber. Saw quite a few boats out on the flats in front of the Zilpo Rec. Area ... fishing the newly dropped brushpiles that the KDFWR put out. You can check this site out for all the stuff they've dropped : Cave Run Lake Fish Attractors - Google My Maps

The lake is back to summer pool and all boat ramps are open. The majority of the fish have pulled back out to 12-15 brush but still a few to be caught shallow.
