Default Creel limit per boat on rough river lake?

Just saw someone talking about this elsewhere and wanted some validation. They claim there is a 40 fish per boat limit on Crappie at rough river lake. Regardless of the number of anglers in the boat. Not saying that isn’t true, but I have never heard of that. Can anyone confirm?

Rough River has a 9" size limit on crappie. The daily limit for crappie in the state is 20 per day and rough river has no reduction in number of keeper crappie.

So, if someone has 40 to themselves they could/should be fined for 20 extra fish.

They are saying 3 anglers can only keep 40 fish. Boat limit. Not 60, 20 per person

Yeah. I know some states, like Mississippi, have boat limits. Just not aware of any here

No such rule according to the 2020-2021 KY Fishing & Boating Guide, so I'd say they were mistaken.
