I plan to be one of the crazy ones tomorrow.. If I don’t get out on the water then I think that I’ll go crazy. All work lately & no play. Stay safe & healthy everyone!

I won’t be a crazy one. I’ll be going to a (hopefully) less crowded paylake for a catfish tournament lol

Friday looked like a holiday on KY Lake. Our gov has essentially shut down everything and has instituted a 14 day quarantine for anybody from out of state coming here. All the local businesses are starving but the quarantine has been totally ignored. Seems like every OOSer who's not working is on KY and Barkley. No enforcement whatsoever!

I’m just returning from Green River Lake. Fishing was slow today for us. There was a lot of lake traffic & fishermen looked to get out of the wind & waves from the boaters. Everyone that I came in contact with around Homes Bend & the Lake was very kind. It was a great day to be out. I crossed Herrington Lake on my way home (US 34 bridge) & it was very muddy.

I fished Green this morning from 8-1. Slow. I found fish, could not get them to bite. 1-2 per brush pile. Anyway, it was pretty. Pretty crowded for Green on the Smith ridge end! Be safe.

Woke up at 6 and they were already parking in the upper lot at Holmes Bend. A whole lot of people can’t park a boat trailer between the lines and that limited the number of spaces and the single cars parking in trailer lanes. Traffic was busy but the lines at the ramp flowed decently all things considered.

Water temps had warmed 3 degrees in 24 hours to 60 this morning. Scratched a limit together, but the evening bite was much better once the traffic cleared out. Mud line was working it’s way down out of the river. We ran up to the 551 bridge and it was still super muddy. White crappie staging deep in 40+ FOW were absolutely stuffed with eggs so there are a lot of fish that haven’t made the push yet. We also ran into some large schools of 6” crappie so we definitely had a good spawn last year.
