I've been there 3 times in the last 10 days and couldn't catch anything shallow.
What I did catch was in 20' of water or deeper.
This recent cold snap has backed them off.
Thinking about headed out in the rain tomorrow. Caught some last week but looks like the water is up almost 4 ft now. Didnt know if crappie were still being taken shallow and how the lake looked. Thanks for any info.

Good bite this morning early (Tues). Wind got up and they quit. 15-20' of water fishing 10-12' deep with minnows.

I have noticed lately the bite was in the morning, mid day they shut down.
Late evening got a little better.
It has been a real hit and miss the last few weeks.
One day would be good, then the next would be terrible.
The ones I have gotten have been nice size though, I just had to
move a lot and only found one at a time.
They're still full of eggs.

I managed to go yesterday from about 10-2 and only caught one shorty. However, it was pretty hard to fish even in towards the bag of creeks. It was hard to fish well to say the least.
Anybody fish Taylorsville today? Thinking of trying it tomorrow just curious what the water looks like, thanks and God Bless
