Default Suspending guide service for Corona

With all that seems to be changing hourly because of this virus , I知 shutting down my guiding for at least the month of April. I知 63 and in the advised group and I don稚 want to risk catching then spreading it. This is a huge hit to my finances but I believe we will come out of this crisis a better people and country.

I agree that the intensity of this pestilence does seem to evolve with every day that passes. I also agree that it's better to err on the side of caution than to take unnecessary chances placing yourself in such close proximity to people who may be carriers of the Covid 19 virus and (themselves) may not even know it or show symptoms of it.

You should qualify for one of the forgivable loans, Doug. Look up The Cares Act or Economic Injury Disaster loan on SBA.gov.

Yes. Payroll Protection Program is an option (may be part of the Cares Act). Lots of options available, if needed or desired.

Personally I am finding other fun things to do. Starlings are making messes everywhere in the barn and tool shed. A few years ago I bought a 20 gauge over/under. Gave it a good workout tonight. 9 starlings in 12 shots that were out of range and through tree limbs. That was so much fun I might get serious tomorrow and get out the 12 gauge after I finish mowing the yard and cutting wood for next year.

The gravity of the current situation seems to change daily/hourly. I agree that it is better to err on the side of caution. Stay safe!

Thanks for the comments guys. I致e already looked into the programs. I hope they treat self-employed folks like they say they will.

I applaud you for making that decision. I wish more guides especially down here would do the same thing. All your reasons and others comments are all valid. All it takes is that one person who in known to them is a carrier and expose you then you expose the next person you take out. Not something I would want to live with. And Doug I know you feel the same way.
