Should still be able to launch from all ramps I believe. At least for another foot or two of rise. Can’t speak to the water conditions though

Yeah, the water level has been steadily going up since Mar 11th and has just turned around and starting to drop since yesterday, so I'd expect the water to be dingy to murky and probably still a bit of trash being blown around. But it's probably fishable & the ramps are probably still usable .... though I would think the Settler's Trace ramp might be a little iffy with the lake 5ft over Summer Pool, but the Possum Ridge ramp should still be usable. My only concern would be whether or not the ramp docks were still accessible.

I can't say for sure, but I suspect the water temps would be in the high 40's to low 50's range ... considering the cloudy, rainy, cool air temps we've had recently. I'm not sure the 70's daytime temps forecast for the middle of the week are going to be enough to change things much, before the weekend 30's & 40's forecast temps nullify any water temp rise.

Bank fished up in the river(quarry) today before work, it’s high but seen a couple boats come in while I was there. Didn’t tear them up but when that pink crappie magnet got in front of them, the thump was REAL. 5 keepers and 8-10 shorts. Males weren’t colored up but the 3 that i caught were only 5-6 inches long. Hated to leave after a couple hours but sure glad I’ve still got a job to go to. Prayers to all.
    Keep on keepin on!!!

    It's fishable, but sloppy.

It's back on the rise again ... up to 6ft over Summer Pool and they aren't pulling it very much. I'd go to the Possum Ridge ramp, over any of the others, with the lake at this level .... but, would probably check the wind direction first. There's gonna be trash/wood floating and depending on the wind (speed & direction) some ramps could be clogged with debris.

If you go, let us know the lake conditions & how you do. Thanks !!

Made it there at 11am, went to the marina and it was packed with fishermen.
Found a spot that looked good and started vertical jigging, must have been my lucky day. Found keeper size fish along with a decent amount of small ones. Most fish where 12-15 feet deep on ledges.
I say my lucky day since this was my first time there. Kept a dozen 11-13” fish, no monsters to brag about.
I’m planning a trip to Barkley lake next week, hope I get lucky there too since I’ve not fished it.

    Good luck fishing

I was there on 3/16/20 and water was up about 5 ft above summer pool but you could put your boat in at Settlers Trace. Water was muddy. Spent 6 hours on water and limited out. Nothing real big, couple at 12 in, 5 at 11 in and rest 10. Tried both jigs and minnows. All caught on minnows, even short fish. Water temp was 51-52.
