Great day of fishing there for sure, congrats.
I took another trip to Cherokee Lake yesterday 1/6 with some brothers from my church and it was fantastic. Day started out 34 degrees, light wind and clear skies. Water temp was 48.6 when we started and warmed to 50.6 in the afternoon. We were spider rigging for smallmouth bass found fish in 40 fow tight to structure and buried on the bottom. We ended the day with 19 keeper smallies, 2 spots and 2 strikers with one striper being 32 3/4 inches long, he was a tussle to say the least. We were surely blessed with a beautiful day and best of all got to fish with some of the best guys I know. God Bless and hope you enjoy the report and pictures.

I wish you had a video of landing that striper. I bet that was a show for sure. Really nice mess of fish. Looks like a great time as usual.

Good catch, the bass tournament guys have been whacking 16-18lbs of Smallies (5 fish limit) down there all Fall and Winter. The Livescope works for them in similar ways it does for Crappie Fishermen. Video Game fishing is the way of the future I guess.
Way to go Chad those are some beauties.

Cherokee is a great lake for smallies and is also full of 3 and 4 pounders. Im still looking for a giant but im happy with catching big numbers till he shows up.
