No problem i just wish they was doing more than looking.. .lol
Went to Green & fished with Slabeye on Monday .... and the "first" was not fishing with him, but "how" we fished.
The fog kept us from doing much running for the better part of the morning, so we stayed close to shore & worked our way thru a few piles/trees. The "first" for me was using a 10' rod, double jig rigging, and pitching out past the piles/trees and letting the jigs swing back to them & then lowering the rod to put the jigs down in the cover (all while watching our jigs progress on the Garmin screen). We watched many fish come off the cover or out of the cover and "check out" our jigs, only to turn around and go right back into the cover. That's what Livescope will show you, that other depth finders may not ... and it's eye opening, to say the least.
Water temps ... 66-67deg
Water condition ... clear to murky (in some areas)
Water Depth fished ... 20fow range (+/- 5')
Total fish caught ... around 35 (counting those that came unbuttoned on the way to the boat & sub-legals)
Keepers landed/kept ... 23 (in the 10"-11" range)
Baits used ... Hot Rods, Slab Sticks, spinner jigs, regular jigs (Rodney) --- Hot Rods, minners, weedless jigs (Me)
Many thanks to Rodney for the trip & fish, and the lesson on a new method of fishing.
