    Default GREEN 10/18

I have never really believed in scent on jigs. Today proved to me that I was wrong!!!! We started out not catching to many and then found a spot that was loaded with fish. We fished and fished nothing. Changed colors and down sized to a Mini Rod and still nothing. Put a scented Slab Stick on and bang caught 15 out of that same pile before we left to go back and fish some of the spots we had already fished and didn't catch any and caught fish this time. Didn't matter the color of Slab Stick or the scent they hit it. Seen a lot of empty piles today. 41 keepers and only 1 dink and most all the keepers was from 10.5" to 12". Fished in 8 to 30 fow most of the fish was in 20 plus fow. All the places I caught fish the last couple of trips was bare today....

What are "slabsticks"? I looked at the CdC store and they are not there, then I did a google search and came up empty

Picture of the colors I will have and how I rig them. Make them with shad scented, garlic scent and with salt. They are 1/4" long. They will stay on hook for a long time. These you don't have to keep replacing. The scent is made in them and is pack in the scent as well.

    Here you go Clint !

I found the website where I can buy them and started an order, but then found out he wants $8.00 shipping for a $2.99 pack of them. I'll stay with Nibbles.
