Thread: Kentucky Crappie Trail at Barren River 10/5/19

Good Monday. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Our next KCT tournament is another opening event over at the Kentucky Crappie Trail Barren River Lake Division.

Saturday October 5th come out and join directors Tony Long and Brad Bowles for a fun day of crappie fishing. Registration and weigh in will be located at the Barren River State Resort Park. Register from 6:00am-6:30am with tournament running 7:00am-1:00pm local times.

Should be a good day to fish as the weather is showing highs in the 70s so come join us on the water!

Great day over at our Kentucky Crappie Trail Barren River Lake Division first tournament of the season.

Some great fish brought to the scales along with the biggest KCT weight brought to any scale over two years.

Here are the top 3 finishers:

1st Butler/Lowe 8.97lbs and big fish of 1.56lbs
2nd Willie Johns/Johns 8.45lbs
3rd Melvin Furlong/Brandon Garrett 7.43lbs

Thanks to all the new boats for coming out to the first event and were excited to see the regulars back next run on November 2nd as the Barren division has doubled in participation!
