    Default What’s the longest...

...you can remember going without fishing?
I think it’s been 3 months, honest to goodness, since I’ve wet a line. With work, vacations and kids sports I haven’t made time. I’m embarrassed to admit that but it’s the sad truth. Might be the longest I’ve not fished since I was maybe 6 years old. Shame on me

This year I went about the same amount of time with everything happening. It feels good to be fishing again.

I hate the heat but I still force myself to go once a week, Unless, I am sick, I am going at least once a week. Year round.

I rarely get once a week but I fish year round. also. Heat, cold, rain, doesn’t matter.

There are times in our lives when fishing can't be the priority.
We all have been given a life time of living and we must use it wisely.
BUT go fishin when you can cause it's Good Fer Ya.

Greenfish, yep, I had a really bad spell with what is called AFIB last year. Probably went 6 months without fishing. Had 2 cardioversions? (Stop my heart and restart), did not work, and 2 'Ablation' procedures to finally stop my 150 bpm constant heart rate. Seems to be good now, but wife just had shoulder surgery(left), and needs someone with here 24hrs/day due to the contraption she has to wear to immobilize her left arm until the shoulder heals for 3 months. She must wear it all the time and needs help with most anything she does. Will be a while before I can get out again.

I've been 2 times this year. Busy with work and kids, same as GREENFISH. Every year, I put my boat in my slip, then go about 3 times. I have surgery first week of OCT., and plan on fishing a lot after the first two weeks, things go good.
