    Default GREEN RIVER 7/29

Finally, got back on the water after not fishing for about 6 weeks. We caught fish in 12 to 35 fow. Fished 6 hours had 70 keeper size fish. Most of them was between 9 and 10" and a few between 10 and 11" but not to many. Biggest was 1 1/4 pd.. Had somewhere between 30 to 40 dinks....All fish was released to get bigger so I don't have any pictures.....

How in the world does a man go 6 weeks without fishing. There has to be some kind of law against that. Does this mean you get to make it up in the next couple weeks.

Well, anymore when i am on night shift it is hard for me to switch around and at least 3 weeks it was raining every day i was off. 2 of those days i had to work overtime. Last week i had to get the rest of my green beans, blackberries picked and can mater juice...now i am on day shift and i am about done with my garden so hopefully i can get back to fishing at least 2 days a week...

Yea we do all our canning on weekends but I’m still gettin some fishin done. One of these days I’m gonna try pullin cranks but it’s hard for me to stop fishin with what works and try something else. We’re lookin down the barrel to fall and I can’t wait.

slabeye, great report. Man you were busy with catching over 100 fish in 6 hours. The kind of problem I'd like to have.

Not like you would think perckjerker. Only had about 50 or 60 total fish the first 4 hours. The last 2 hours we was a little busy. We was trolling this time so when there are 8 poles out it is not as busy as single poleing.

Slabeye, understand, but still an impressive catch of crappie in a 6 hour trip. Good luck on future trips. I've got to get down to Green River this fall.
