After several months of meetings, today found the fruits of all those plans set into action by Kentucky Fish & Wildlife’s very own Joseph Zimmerman, a three year program was set into action. A big THANKS to several district biologist departments from across the state, as well volunteers from Mississippi, Alabama,Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and our very own Kentucky. With the help of Wildlife Officer Brad Bowles, over the years he and I have dropped a few beds but nothing like what will take place in this program. It was always a great feeling to drop beds and go back and catch fish out of them. Should you want to take a crack at that feeling, message me and I’ll hook you up with a phone number or e-mail to get your name on the list of those willing to help. With this being the first drop, there will be plenty of opportunities for volunteers.

I wish our DNR would allow the placing of structure. Up here you can get in big trouble for placing ANYTHING in the water.
