    Default 2D sonar identification Taylorsville lake


    Curious if anybody could identify what I’m seeing on my sonar? Saw this several times around the same depth just hoping to verify that this is a school of the shad

    You shoulda flipped it over to DI .... might've gotten a more clear picture of the school.

    When I was there yesterday, I never encountered any large schools of Shad. Only thing I saw "schooling" were small Common Carp, 4 or 5 of them in a group, and swimming at the surface (and even they weren't in the shallows close to the bank).
