    Default Pappy's report on Spring Fling @ Green 2019


    First off ... yes it did rain, "some" ... but luckily no thunderstorms to deal with.

    Green River Lake was clearer than normal, with water temps ranging from 69-72deg

    We had around 50 people attend the event, & most everyone that fished caught fish ... even though the fish seemed to have not gotten the memo about them supposed to be nesting !!

    We had a good selection of prizes for our attending members :









    And Goodie Bags full of jigs, plastics, weights, decals, Magic Bait "bites", etc.

    Looks like a great get together with a good turnout despite the weather concerns. I've always enjoyed myself at any of these CDC gatherings that I've ever attended.
    Good fellowship, good eatin' and lots of fun meeting everyone and putting a real face to a CDC screen name.

    Crappiepappy, I really missed a great opportunity to fish/associate with the all the people this year. I had a 'Hard' commitment during the time of the event, and sorry I could not attend. All I can say is that you are most dedicated person to make this happen each year and hope it continues. I can't imagine all the work you put into this along with the others who contribute all the stuff for food and prizes, but it is a great event from what I've seen. I will make a point to make sure I get there next year if it continues. Great job on a special event to all.
