Yeah I noticed things slowing down some with the boat traffic yesterday as well. Always a good day when we can fish instead of work, lol.

Yeah, it's only 5.5ft over pool as of 915PM today .... but, with the incoming fronts & thunderstorms taking a bead on T-ville area, it could jump right back up into the parking lots in a matter of days. The weather does not bode well for a full on spawn this year, so hopefully things will settle down enough to give them a last ditch chance to get off a decent round of spawning by early next month. I have known them to spawn during the first week of May in the past, and deeper than what most would think !!

Are all the ramps passable at Tville? I went to Rough River today and state ramp closed apparently all north end were closed. Peter Cave marina closed so I guess they under water too.

With the lake back up to 6' over pool you "may" have trouble at Chowning & Settlers, but should be OK at Possum Ridge & Van Buren .... though the courtesy docks may not be accessible. Although ... according to GREENFISH in his report from yesterday, Chowning ramp is usable (courtesy dock is not) ... and the lake was 6' over then, too.

Thanks a bunch. I figured you would have a good idea about the lake level. May go to Guist creek. Just wanting to get boat in the water. Lol.

Just took dogs out and wind is up. Don't know about going but at least I know the ramp status now. Thanks!

Hey guys, I don't post much on here but read alot.

Im looking to hit Taylorsville for the first time this year and I was wondering what kind of shape the water is in - trashy or muddy? I know it’s up 4.5ft so trying to determine if a fella could push or pull some baits? I am not looking for any spots, etc just some general lake conditions info - again if you don't mind.

    Thanks in advance.
