    Default Nolin Lake

Anyone been on Nolin this week? Just wondering how the bite was.
    Any info would be appreciated.
    Thanks

We fished the arms on the north end of the lake and caught nice fish, not a limit, pulling jigs. A few days after a friend pulled crank baits and did well. I think it’s time to switch. Name: IMG_0797.jpg

Thanks for the update, I just bought a few cranks but haven’t really committed to using them yet lol. Is it safe to assume we are on the backside of the spawn here?

For me, my answer is no. They don’t all march up to their specific bed and spawn as a lot think. I’ve caught females ready to burst first week in June. Use your electronics and scan an area to see the level they’ve gravitated to and concentrate on that level. Use depth charts off the web to find the right amount of line out to get your brand of crank baits just above them. Another way I use is to use a 3oz inline sinker and let out enough to get it in their face.
