    Default Taylorsville 4/9/19 Tuesday

Came in with 20 keepers. 2 fishing with 8 poles spider rigging. Fish still we're in 30 ft of water or better about 10 to 12' deep. Fished spider rig, jigs tipped with minnows. 50 to 60 shorts were released. Water more dingey than Saturday. Lot of debris in the water. All fished cleaned we're full of eggs. Water temp 62. Don't understand why they are so scattered over deep water. Tried close to bank but no bites. Fish kept were 10 to 11 inches. A couple went 13.

    You did good, QT !!

I'm with you on why they're still out deep & scattered ... although, I have known them to spawn 8ft deep and towards the end of April into the early part of May. Anyway, when they do decide to come to the banks, for real ... it's gonna be a massacre !! I'm just wondering why the Creel Clerk isn't checking people at the Settlers ramp, like they used to do many years ago.
