Thread: Jonathan creek reports ??

Fished there a couple days ago. Bite was slow. Got six keepers out of twelve caught. Only fished a few hours in the morning. Slow trolled jigs in the bay right of the public ramp. Water is down a couple feet.

I've heard some good reports from people at Jonathan, the last week or so.

Buddy and I talked to you guys last year at Kentucky lake. Was wondering if you went yet. Good luck and hope it goes better than last year and weather cooperates . Would think with all those 9 3/4” fish last year there should be plenty of keepers around. We just got back from old hickory lake. Pre fished there this year in case we do tourney later in the fall. Caught around 50 and 35 keepers. Missed 1 day out of three due to high winds. Was catching them in 4-8 foot of water and females full of eggs and males colored up. So should be spawning for you guys this week I would think. Let me know how you do.

We’re at ky lake now.
Been here for 3 days,averageing 20 keepers a day,nice size.had four yesterday over 1 1/2 pounds.sounds like you had a nice trip except for missing a day that always sucks!will let you know how the next 4 goes
