Thread: Barkley bank fishing this evening

Caught a few nice fish just before dark in shallow water using a black/chartreuse crappie magnet under a weighted cork.

I like to bank fish because I'm too lazy to put the boat in the water!! I've got a pretty nice boat that I use quite often in the spring but it's very convenient to simply slip over to these bank locations and fish for an hour or two.

I certainly don't go in expecting to catch a limit, but I'll take four or five 12-13in crappie all day long.
