    Thumbs up Just had to get out ...


    .... and sling a 1/32oz Chartreuse marabou Road Runner at my local city park lake, and see if any Crappie were cruising the shallows. "Sauced" it up a little and began slinging. Got a few "thumps" that I figured were Bluegill, but didn't hookup with any of them. Then, lo and behold, one of those thumps ended up being one of these :



    The other one was "donated" by a nice gentleman that happened to catch it while we were talking.

    That'll work right there for sure. The weather around here has me thinking pretty hard about wetting a hook too.

    Awesome weather for this time of year. We better enjoy it while we can. I couldn't get the crappie to cooperate either. Small bass were the ticket for me in the river tribs.
