    Default Taylorsville 3/19/19


    Put in at van buren. Fished from 8:30 to 1:00. Spider rig from 15fow to 25 fow. Temp was 45 degrees when started when i left it was 49 degrees. Caught fish on pico jigs with slabsauce tipped with nibs. Also used some minnows fish liked both. Caught fish from 6 to 8 foot deep.caught forty total with 15 keepers. Only seen one boat.     Can't really tell by the picture, but they don't appear to be swollen up with eggs. When you cleaned them, what did the eggs look like ??

    I see the local road crew hasn't gotten around to clearing the Van Buren access road. :rolleyes:

    Good job on getting a limit, and it looks like you got a few chunks in the mix, too !!

    Did you happen to notice if Chowning Lane ramp was open ?? It is notorious for having debris all over it and it takes them awhile to clean it off. Thanks in advance !!

    Went to Crowning Lane tonight on way home from work. It is locked up. Looked like there was a couple of big logs right near the ramp. Looks like I will be using Van Buren in the morning.
