Good Job !!
Can you tell us the current status of the eggs (assuming you kept and cleaned any) ??
Slipped into Green River Lake yesterday. Caught 23 keepers, off of 1 tree in 27 FOW. I had been dreaming of this spot since the water came up. At summer pool the tree is only partially submerged. Now of course, it is covered by 20 FOW of water. It was the only place we could catch a fish. Water was stained to muddy and warmed up to 49'F. These fish were gorging on shad. It was a good day. I must note here that, me & my partner got fussed at by a local dock owner and meant no harm when taking my boat out of the water. My apologies to the owner. It was a very good day.

Some females were bulging with eggs. I would also say the eggs were bright yellow and sacs were pretty large on some. I did not pay a lot of attention to the eggs, just that they were there to be honest. I can say for sure though that the males were starting color up a bit. Out of the water the fish were pretty pale. After the trip home in the livewell, they had really good color.

Congrats on a good day. This warm weather is giving me the fever bad. If I can get this Ohio river to straighten up just a little I'll get out.
Way to go and thanks for the report! Where did you put in at?

Thanks for the report! Glad you got out and put some in the boat. Pretty sure I've lost my sea legs having not been out in so long

Congrats on a good trip and thanks for sharing
Almost hate to say, we launched at Emerald Isle. I don’t think the folks that own/manage it were too happy with me.
