Default KY Streams, Rivers and some lake levels available

I've posted this before, but if interested, check out this site. Mostly lists (from dropdown list) Rivers and Streams, but has 8-9 lakes listed. I think the data is updated every hour. Once you find a site you see in the list, click on the site number and you will get detailed information.

johnboy1, yep, I guess we pay for this information(government run site), so why not use it. I wish they covered more 'Lakes' in KY, but if you look at the levels of the rivers/streams coming into the lakes you get an idea how much water is coming into the Lakes. I think they use these measurement points at various sites to help forecast flooding, but it is also useful to see for us how much water in coming into areas after a major rain event. I've actually seen these transmitter sites here at Georgetown on the Elkhorn Creek. They have Solar power and I guess they transmit data at least every hour. I think you can actually find the location of the transmitter when you click on the site and click/ask to show the location.
