    Default Live well vents

Has anyone used these vents or anything like them? Wondering if they work during the hot weather or worth the money?Name: 20190128_142020.jpeg

If you ever want to release walleye let me know. I'll bring a comfortable cooler they can chill in!

Have had these in my boat for several years. They do help as they let heat escape from livewell. They are designed to circulate air when running the lake. If you don't move a lot like the bass fishing guys do they are not going to work as well. Heat and lack of oxygen are the 2 worst stress items on fish. If you have an older boat that does not have pro air system adding a oxygen pump to livewell also helps. With these 2 things in my boat i very seldom lose a fish unless foul hooked. I don't fish much in hot weather due to my job but have had some huge amounts of fish in spring and fall with all fish being alive at end of day. Ice is your friend in hot weather. With having these in livewell it does help keep water temp. down. If I changed boats they would be installed in it also.
