    Default Cumberland and Laurel Lake???

Thinking of going there Monday just curious if they are pulling these lakes bad right now or are they real muddy? Just don't want to waste my time, thanks in advance, God Bless

Don't know how much they are pulling but Cumberland is above summer pool. Have not been on the lake but from the road some of fishing creek does not look too muddy. Did not see a lot of debris but I'm sure its there. Good luck if you get to go.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!

I have not been to Cumberland since a couple days after Christmas so I don't know how it looks. But you can always find somewhere that is not muddy. For me when the lake comes up this much and are pulling it hard usually equals a bad day fishing...If I remember right it had came up 6 feet and pulling 23,000 and only had 8 to 10 keepers my last trip.

According to this site : Lake Cumberland Water Level .... the lake is rising, and came up another 1.24ft since yesterday's reading. (2019 level is the dark blue streak to the far left on the chart)

I don't think Laurel is much of a lake for Crappie, but that's just me.

Fished a couple hours yesterday morning at Cumberland, 2 bites, 2 short fish, it was tough. The week before, December 28th&29th had 15 keepers each day by 7:30a.m.
When the water comes up this much it shuts them off a few days. Water color wasn't bad, fish just didn't bite.

I live on Lake Cumberland (Fishing Creek) and I can tell you that parts of it are muddy, and what's not muddy is very stained. Yesterday I was over by Alligator 2 dock on Wolf Creek and it was very muddy. At Burnside the river had a lot of debris. And everywhere the water was very high. Gonna be a few days before it settles....if we don't get any more rain, that is.

Opened the flood gates today. I think they are trying to wash the streets in Nashville again
