yea lol that was us in the deep v, I saw a lot of fish on the 360 and DI in that area but we couldn’t get them to hit like you guys got them to! We had fun watching you guys when the action was fast and furious lol.
we were using jigs tipped with minnows, thought about long line trolling like we do at Weiss Lake but didn’t get around to it. We’re headed back this Saturday orSunday, it was our first time on Green River Lake

    Hey fella's,
Me and a friend of mine were planning a trip to Green River next weekend. Will be our first trip to Green River! Any tips on fishing or a place to stay?

I'll let the local GRL guys chime in on "tips" .... but, as far as a place to stay I'd have to recommend Holmes Bend Marina.
How you like to fish and are set up to fish may be a factor in where you should concentrate your efforts. That's probably more true for first timers to Green, so letting us know that may help us in recommending tips or accommodation locations.

That being said ... you do realize that the lake is back over Summer Pool (7.8ft above Winter Pool) and rising after the recent run of rainy days. Also, if by "next weekend" you are referring to this coming weekend, you'll have decent weather as far as air temps but may be fishing during a heavy drawdown. But the rate of drawdown may depend on water levels of the waterways that Green empties into. They're currently drawing the lake down at a little over 400cfs ... while the incoming water is around 3000cfs. (according to today's COE Lake Level Chart)

If you're actually talking about "next weekend" (11th-13th) the current forecast for that weekend is a high percentage possibility of rain to go along with decent air temps. That is of course subject to changing between now & then.
