    Default Green River

Planning on a weekend trip up to the Green Friday and Saturday. Not looking for specific location reports- but how is the water? We usually stay in the cabins right there at Holmes Bend. Any help on the water would be helpful as we are driving three hours, hate to waste all that time and money if it is going to be muddy and tough fishing.

    Thanks in advance

I would reschedule . Starting wed. night rain again for couple days and snow chances sat. Water is 46 degrees and murky from holmes bend to the bridge. Fished hard for 6 hours with 5 fish to show for it. They are pulling lake level down pretty strong . You can find better water towards the dam. but forecast would make me change my plans . Several people fishing today but didn't see a whole lot of fish caught.

According to this they're not pulling the lake hard at all : Louisville District Daily Lake Report

Fished yesterday and from Holmes bend to the bridge the water was pretty murky in color. Bite was slow. Rain coming in Thursday and Friday with over 1” expected. That will make it the murky color muddy pretty quick I am guessing

Lower end looks good ... just a little stained.
I’ve been casting jigs on the main lake and doing pretty well.
    No luck in the creeks
    Good luck
