Looks like you had a great time. It's been 20 years since I was there. It was JR's then. May come down for a couple days and fish off the 'lighted docks' the say they have now at night per their website. Should be some crappie coming in to the light at night with the baitfish.

People were out there catching fish Saturday night. I see people there year round. Seen a lot if crappie and catfish caught off that dock.

We went down there every year from 2007-2010 and had some great times. That was when we still lived in Illinois before we bought a house in Tn in 2011.
I'd like to get down there again sometime.

I love it. I've gone so much I know the lake fairly well. The people are great and the fish seem larger with the longer growing season. Plus we get to keep 30 crappie. The bonus is Tony's Steak Barn in Cedar Bluff. I must go to for a great prime rib.

I never heard of the Steakhouse that I remember. If I ever get a chance to get down there again I'll try to remember the name of it. We usually stayed at the Alabama Belle or Weiss Lake Lodge.

Weve had a lot going on this year and I've hardly fished Kentucky Lake so going somewhere else will have to wait awhile.

You definitely need to try Tony Steak Varn. Only open Thursday thru Sunday. I stayed at Weiss Lake Lodge ourselves for a few years but fish mainly out of Little River so we stay there now. Have fun if you get down there sometime.
