    Default Finally! Green River Lake Report


    I have only fished once since mid-July. Work😬. Got out on Green today with my best fishing buddy. My youngest son. He’s great in the back of the boat. We caught 35 keepers in 22-25 FOW on Bobby Garland jigs. Best colors were bleeding shad and Chartreuse red flake on 1/8 roadrunners and 1/16 jig heads. We vertically fished just off main lake points. Water temp was @ 51 deg. Fish quality was excellent. We had one go over 14”, 2 over 13” and several 11”+.

    Good times with your son. A buddy and I had a good day on Green yesterday as well casting jigs. Like you ..... we had great quality fish.
