Default Ky lake where to stay where to fish

I live in southern IL and my in-laws are staying with us for the week of Thanksgiving. I would like to take my father-in law to Ky Lake from Mon-Wed of that week. I have stayed at Johnathan creek years ago for pleasure boating but we have never crappie fished Ky Lk. Is it better to fish Johnathan Creek Blood River or Paris Landing this time of year? Any suggestions on places to say would be appreciated. We will be vertical jigging and not spider rigging.

If you go to Jonathan Creek the place to stay is Sportsman's Lodge. Maybe someone else will be along with fishing info

Jonathon creek is a good area to fish that time of year. Tremendous amount of brush and stake beds all through the east side of the bridge in deep and shallow water. Don’t know if my buddy Brad Weakly is still guiding this late but he’s fantastic help learning the area to fish. Dean Macoy is too.

Early american motel ph# 270-474-2000 is good place to stay. reasonable rates. decent rooms. minutes from kenlake marina which has boat ramp. not far from jonathan creek either. places to eat. The Pond is across the road from the motel. boss hogg is not far from there either. cindys on the barge will be closed by the time you go down. most eaterys are on winter hours or closed for season. keep that in mind. as for fishing no idea to tell ya where to start.

If you decide on Jonathon Creek, I would stay at Sportsman's Lodge the only issue is the marina is closed for the season so you will have to get bait somewhere else.
FISHING, no better way to spend the day!
