Any of you ever hang into commercial nets while trolling for crappie? A couple weeks ago on Lake Barkley we snagged into a commercial net. It was strung across a bay from one side to the other, maybe 250 yards long. The few that I have seen set on Ky Lake were identified by a ball/buoy every so many yards. (back in Jonathon Creek). The one we snagged into was not marked except for a large plastic jug near each end. We might not have even noticed the two jugs except the fisherman happened into the bay as I was trying to remove the couple Pico's. He proceeded to pull the net, starting from one bank and working across the bay, which is when we noticed two floats/jugs. He had a boatload from that net and one that he pulled earlier that morning. Danged Carp. Was curious if there are normally more than a marker at each end of a commercial net.
