Never thought of it as "Mr. Dux" .... always thought of it as a country boy answering the question "what are those" and his answer being ..... "m r dux" (them are ducks ... spoken in a KY drawl).

That’s exactly where it came from. I’d heard the old poem about m r dux- m r geese. My 1st membership on a forum was a waterfowl site so it fit and stuck. I was recently asked if I wanted to change it.

MR, hope you are doing fine with the therapy. On the 'tags' for the ID's. I got mine from a SERIOUS bass fisherman that I fished with. He got really upset when we were fishing for BASS on 'points' with structure. He would say there is a boat of 'perchjerkers' anchored on 'my' spot as we moved from location to location. I told him they are crappie fishing and have the right to fish your 'spot' if they get there before you. He then proceeded to refer to me as a 'perchjerker'.So, the name stuck. The good part, I could out fish him in the back of the boat during our trips(Zoom, Big DEAD ringer), but seemed a lot of work to catch fish and turn them back into the lake, I never keep BASS unless they are gut hooked. So, this is the story of Perchjerker'.
