    Default Cave Run Report 9/5

Had another successful night at our home lake last night. We attended church last night, like every Wednesday night, then headed for the lake. Arriving on the water around 10:30 I figured the fish were still in summer time pattern so I spider rigged the channel lines working in 30 to 40 fow, catching them around 14 to 18 feet deep, water was 85 degrees. Solid chartreuse, black/chart, and monkey milk sliders seemed to be the colors of choice. Our boat ended the night catching 80 fish with 37 keepers, lots of 11 to 13 inch fish. My brother-in-Law and my son had 15 keepers including a nice channel cat. Once again a great time with the family and some fine table fare, some might wonder what I do with all these fish? The answer is we clean them and spread them out to our church and friends who aren't able to fish themselves. God Bless and hope you enjoyed.

    Thanks for the report !!

Any minners being harmed by your crews, or are you simply Spider Rigging with jigs/plastics ?? Are you running submerged lights, or just lights enough to see the rod tips (or both) ??

We are using both minnows and plastics and also using both submerged green lights and white lights to see the rods

    Thanks for the info!
Time spent on the water is not deducted from one's lifespan.
