Default Barkley 8-8, Malone 8-9, Local water shed 8-10

Was off the last three days because I have weekend coverage, so reality sets back in at 6 a.m in the morning. So Wed I headed to Barkley pulled cranks for about 4 hrs and managed 5 keeper crappie 4 nice whitebass and plenty of catfish. Picos in wolverine worked best 20 fow 10’ down. Malone was much nicer to me on Thursday, we caught a ton of fish with some nice 11-13” mixed in. Although many were the run of the mill Malone type crappie in the 8-9” range. Picos in the green colors were on, all 10’ down. Then for the highlight of the week, some nice bluegills and shellcrackers this morning all caught trolling in 30 fow on a watershed here at home, a friend from up north showed me a technique using a night crawler and a little spinner that I won’t soon forget. Great report and congrats on a good 3 days. I haven't fished since July 13 due to work. Your post is proof they are there to get. Interesting note about the gills. They look like some nice ones. Don't work too hard. 🙏

We ran main line( light braid) down to a 3 way, bottom of the 3 way same braid down to a 1 oz bell sinker on about a 2ft leader. Then tied a walleye type crawler rig on about a 4ft leader off of the 3 way that was 6lb mono. Google images nightcrawler spinner rig for walleye and that will show what I’m talking about. Of course downsize the rig to a small hook and smaller stinger. Hope this helps, I don’t have pictures yet
