    Default Cave Run report 8/5

Well guys this may not interest everyone but I thought I would share with you about my Sunday event and then my Sunday night trip to the lake. I am a pastor of a Pentecostal Hollines church down here in Jeffersonville Ky and yesterday here at my place we held a baptism for what I thought was for a couple of members of my church. We started at noon and when the last person was baptized we had counted 22 people total. Man it was a wonderful day. So off to my house for some good old coffee and homemade apple pie we all finished the daylight hours with a great church service. God is amazing...
After church we headed for the lake still fishing around 30 fow the fish were hitting about every color jig we had, but the most popular was chartreuse with black tail and around 14-17 feet deep. We wound up with around 85 total with 40 keepers. Lots of 10 to 13 inch fish, my mom had a huge one right to the boat and it broke off, she was so dissappointed. As always I spider rigged all night staying just off the channel. Didn't mean to ramble, but wanted to share my great day with everyone, for nothing I do amounts to a thing except that which is done for the Lord. God Bless and hope you enjoyed reading this post.Name: 0806180829.jpg

How do you spider rig at night, how many rods do you use, how long, what kinds of lights, I’ve thought about trying it but I think I would make a huge mess of it all, thanks

I run 8 rods out the front for me and my wife, my mom runs 4 rods off the side. We use different length rods from 7 foot to 14 foot in length and when I think im going slow enough I slow down a little below that lol. I have 2 white led lights facing forward 1 led white off each side and 2 submersible green lights in the water. That is how we do it with pretty good success.
