    Default Cave Run report 7/19


    Back to the lake for another all nighter with good success. Spider rigged all night following the edge of the river channel just on the transition from deep Water 50+ feet to 30 feet deep seems that most fish were caught between 15 to 18 fow, I stayed in the 30 foot range, if I got deeper or shallower I had no luck. My Wife, Mom and myself on my boat, caught over 100 fish with 40 keepers lots of 11 and 12 inch fish with a couple 13's. Water temp had cooled down some to 83 degrees, fish were caught using black/chart jigs and pink/chart jigs some tipped with minnows and some just plain jigs. My son and Brother-in-Law caught near 100 with 29 keepers anchored over some brush in 32 fow just off the river channel as well. Had a great night with the family and a real big mess for a fish fry.
