Thread: Cave Run 7/14 report

Well I have church on Saturday nights so after church ended we headed for the lake near my home to pull another all nighter. We arrive at the lake about 11:30 and by 12:15 or so we were all set up and fishing. I spider rigged all night working a big area around some rocks and timber water depths ranging from 22 feet to 54 feet, fish were mostly caught around 18 feet down. We wound up catching 61 total with 19 really nice keepers with the biggest of the night at 13 3/4 inches, black/chartreuse sliders seem to be the best but caught a few on glitter green using slab sauce and some tipped with minnows. We left the lake around 6 am and had a great time with my family. God Bless and Happy fishing.
