    Default Beaver Lake

Fished Beaver Lake this afternoon for about 3 hours. First time on the lake. Lots of cover and hot water. Pulled cranks in and out but no bites. Concentrated on bluegill. Kept a dozen nice ones 6-8' deep. Caught a few small redear.

Thanks for the report, I fish this lake off the big dock at the lake. Most nice bluegill come from the longest cast to the other bank across from the dock(longest cast I can do). Nothing much from the dock itself. So, if you have a boat, check out the bank across the dock at about 20-30ft from the bank. Something is going on over there for Bluegill. Also, there is brush pile about 40ft from the center of the Dock that sometimes has a few fish. Anything near the dock is a Turtle bite, if you want these.

Thanks for the tip! 👍 I will give it a try. Of course we idled as far from the dock as we could get. The whole time I'm thinking it looked good for 'gills right there close. Lookin' forward to trying again.
