Update on pavilion facilities.

I checked out the facilities yesterday after coming off the lake. The pavilion area and the roadsides to the pavilion have been mowed. The roadsides leading in offer plenty of parking spaces with large shoulders on each side with gentle sloping. For the cookers, there is a hydrant close to the grills for any water needs. The area to the east of the pavilion where the boats will be set up was mowed large enough that there is plenty of room for the attendees to check the boats out without crowding each other.

Just a reminder to bring chairs. In the words of my Drill Instructor, its better to have and not need than to need and not have. Well, thats the cleaned up version. His wording is unprintable here.

J Paul Jackson of Excel Boats will be there with his Bay Pro 203 and will be filming my segment for a Facebook Live broadcast. Please excuse any questions from him about how I set up my 203 for crappie. Excel is going to be building crappie models in several of their boats starting in the spring. J Paul and I welcome any feedback or suggestions for things you might like to see in a new crappie boat.

Should anybody be in the Witness Protection Program, you might want to avoid being filmed.

I decided to cut up a bunch of red onion tonight Incase someone would like to dress their burger

is the thought of eating some of that Dutch Oven cobbler!
