Default marking waypoints amount of error

Been wondering about this and wanted to see what everyone else thought.
If you happen over a brush pile and you pause the screen and cursor over to mark it.... lets say the pile is 6 ft in diameter and stands up 5 ft off the bottom.
How much of a position error would you add if you put the cursor on top of the pile instead of at the bottom ?

I can't decide. I don't need anymore error ..... going in plenty of circles already !

Eager to see what everyone thinks

That brings back memories. When I dropped beds on channel edges I’d throw out two marker buoys about two boat lengths apart. Then get upwind and drift between the two. When I’d first see the edge of the break, bombs away. I’d give it time for the bubbles and silt to settle and with the amount of weight and uprights acting like rudders, you’d think they’d be on the spot and usually they were, but not always. When going back to beds that had been dropped a year, they would not always be on my mark and had been in the past. Was it weather, NCIS, or Russians?
