I recently learned the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife's Camp Currie has a scholarship fund that helps send children to their conservation camps each year. This could be a good way to help expose some deserving kids to fishing, boating, hunting and natural resource conservation.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

How do you all raise the money for the donations? I've never been to an event and I won't be able to make this one because I will be in Michigan on my annual Grouse hunt. However I wouldn't mind helping out.

usually pass the hat at the Saturday cook out and/or raffle off some of the donated items.

I would like to donate a raffle item. I think it would be a nice thing to do. Who should I mail it to? And when should I mail it?

It doesn't look good for me attending this year. Just got home from the hospital after having my right knee replaced and will have the left one done as soon as possible. Scottymoe will be spending a month in Maine so he will not be returning. I really enjoyed last year an was hoping to make it back. I will send a donation for the charity. Don
