    Default Jonathan Creek Sportsmans Lodge

Anybody ever stay at Sportmans Lodge? I normally stay at Irvin Cobb in Blood River but debating on trying out Jonathan Creek this year. Opinions in general and hows the fishing compared to blood. Will be spider rigging for the most part.

Let me qualify this: I guide out of Sportsman’s but pay for everything I get. This is my 3rd year there and I have never seen them as busy as this spring. A large portion of my clients stay there and I ask every one if their accommodations were OK. If any had issues, they were taken care of immediately. They have motel rooms, cabins, and park model campers for rent. Heather and her crew work hard to take care of their customers. Their place isn’t the Ritz Carlton but much nicer than most.

I stayed at Sportsmans last fall for the shindig, I was very pleased with my stay. Staff was very helpful, stayed in a cabin, as Doug mentioned it’s not the ritz, but served its purpose, i enjoyed using the covered dock to store my boat, walked down to the dock in the morning they have hot coffee and off we were

We have a camper there at Sportsman's going on three years now. I've had friends from Eastern KY come and stay a week in one of the larger park models. They enjoyed there stay and were very satisfied. Heather, Ron, Sharon and all the others are very accommodating. Just like Doug said it's not the Ritz Carlton but none of them are. Hope you enjoy !!!
