I went by Taylorsville Lake Friday and the water was still up. One of the locals said it was still around 25' above summer levels. Does anyone know if it has started draining now that the Ohio is started falling?
Yep ... good info on each one. And on the one that JCC posted, you can get some other good info by clicking on the highlighted numbers under Pool Feet and the highlighted lake name. Pool feet number will take you to a chart showing lake levels, rain totals, and inflow/outflow amounts for the past year. The lake name will take you to a page where you can then click on "lake temps" ... and when they start measuring, you get water temps & oxygen levels from surface to bottom. But, you have to realize that those readings are taken at the dams of those lakes, they're not done on a daily basis, and they don't start until around the time the thermocline starts setting up. The "maps" are rudimentary at best.
