Dang crappie were tough yesterday on cranks. I know all the reasons I could come up with but I don't want that...I won't use them!! (ok, it was 32 degrees when I slid down the iced over ramp at 7 AM. Same gonna be this morning) We only had a couple crappie but fishermen like to catch and the KnB toon tries hard. We found a huge school of whitebass that fought and fought and fought. Ended with like 40 in a mixed bag of a few crappies, yellows and the rest whites. (We won't count the small green carp or the asian caught...IN THE MOUTH AGAIN). And just for ol Chauncy we tossed in a Gaspergoo about 16 pounds on a 14 foot Southern crappie trolling rod and a pink Arkie 350!!
