Default In line trolling sinker for pushing cranks

Got one of the do it jig molds and poured up a bunch of em. Tried to replicate what I have seen in pictures. 3 oz weight, #1 brass wire eyes, #5 crane swivel. Got the crane swivel on top. Have barrel swivel with interlock snap on main line to clip onto crane swivel, then run ~3 ft leader from bottom of weight. Tie leader direct to bottom eye of weight, then have barrel swivel with snap on end of it to attach crank. Is this proper setup/rigging? Hope to get a break from work soon to try em out...
Here's a pic of the weight.

I can't read the typed part G, does it give the speed at which the chart works?

No, it doesn't ... it's based on keeping your lines at a 45deg angle, regardless of weight used or speed.

For pushing jigs, I use the formula of : length of line out below the surface times 0.6 (when lines are running at a 45deg angle). So 20ft of line out below surface times 0.6 equals my weight running 12ft deep (20x0.6=12) ... or basically 6ft of depth for every 10ft of line out below the surface. When running cranks I add another foot of depth below the weight for med runners & 2ft for deep runners.

I just started pushing Cranks this year. I like those a lot better than I do the barrel sinkers. Looks like I'm going to have to invest into one of those moles. Thanks for sharing

Thanks G, I had seen that chart before- that's one of the reasons I wanted to try the inline trolling weights, I thought that was what y'all used. I was wanting the depth control to be as accurate as possible for pushing. Wasn't sure how or if different types of sinkers (bank sinkers, bass casting sinkers, egg sinkers, etc.) would affect depth or running of cranks while pushing.

No problem slabseeker, I figured you'd have a chance to try em out before I would. I'm hoping to get to fish Friday. Gonna try pulling and pushing at the same time. Will post a report if I get to go.
