Default Ayyone know a site that lists the oxygen levels for Barkley & Kentucky?

I was trying to look this up and can't find any recent information available for oxygen levels on the lakes.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It may be that they don't do O2 levels on those lakes.

The COE lakes that I fish (Taylorsville, Green, Cave Run) will stratify and a thermocline will set up, and the COE Lake Level website will post the temps & O2 levels at various depths WHEN the thermocline does set up. They are, however, measured at the dams of those lakes ... so they're not accurate for most other areas of the lakes.

Thermoclines may not set up at KY/Barkley ... because of the continuous flow of water through them (due to the large drainage area feeding the lakes).
Or, maybe the TVA people don't bother with those readings, like the COE does ??

You might google Murray State Hancock Biological Station. It is located just south of Kenlake State Park.

Obviously that data is not current but it's probably the only source for it.

Thanks guys. I knew about the Murry State site but since they apparently aren't updating any longer I was hoping there may be another source I wasn't aware of.

Oh well it was worth a shot in asking.

    Thanks again

MSU is still collecting data, but it is my understand that the hydrolab that sends daily data back, is not functioning. They could not give me a answer on repair time.

Here is a graph from some USCOE data they send me. They typically survey the lake about 3 times a year. Mostly in the summer, when conditions are most favorable for stratification. The data for this graph was takend near Canton on the main lake. Hope this helps.
Thanks Clint thanked you for this post

You can find HBS "realtime" data here https://www.murraystate.edu/qacd/cos/hbs/wq.cfm which also shows 30 min data.

There is also table output form where you can instantly download data from back to 2005 (make sure you click the user agreement button). The sonde that collects this information is on the Highland light and there is a surface reading (at 1 meter) and a bottom reading (at ~1 m from the bottom). It is important to note that most of the reservoir does not stratify (and you'll notice this in temp and DO readings pairing up at the highland site). Once the water warms up in late summer and if we get a few days with very little wind (and low discharge), DO can start to become limiting in some places. The only place that I know of a strong thermocline is at Pisgah Bay (quarry) which even in the dead of summer will have 4-5 deg C water at about 10m all the way to the bottom (33 m).

That website has not been updated since July of last year.
