    Default Blood River

Thinking of giving Blood River a try, but not sure what ramp would be best at this water level. I don't fish Ky much, mostly Barren, and Nolin, so I don't know the area very well. Any suggestion from the locals would help and maybe save me some major problems. Thanks for any information you may give.

Wildcat public use area. Irvin Cobb Resort has a pay ramp ($5) but it is really shallow at 354.

If you put out at Cobb there is a warning bouy out from the ramp even with the end of the dock. This bouy marks structure that blew off the covered dock roofing from last year. At low water I'd give it a wide pass. The pay box is beside the door across from the ice machines.

Is the Wildcat ramp located at Wildcat camp resort? The map I have doesn't show that ramp anywhere.
    Thanks

I fished blood river this past Saturday, put in at Wildcat and didn't have any problems, caught 12 keepers before the wind and rain ran the wife and off.

    Good luck,
    Ray

Thanks Joey Clark for the reply and the great map of the ramp location, and also to everyone else that replied. I will try to get over that way in the next couple of weeks.
    Good fishing.
